Ours is a classic community policing philosophy, emphasizing that the police mission is to help solve problems rather than to simply respond to calls for service.
A professional organization, the Gulfport Police Department has been accredited by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, and over one third of our sworn officers has at least a bachelor's degree.
For nearly one hundred years, the citizens, proprietors, and visitors of Gulfport have relied on their police department for quality service. We hope to continue that tradition for many years to come.
